Elmdale Partners was formed in 2010 by Thomas M. Bretz and Adam C. Freeman as a real estate acquisition firm. Thomas and Adam have over 30 years of experience in real estate investing, fundraising, private equity and investment banking and have successfully deployed over $500 million on behalf of themselves and investors in real estate projects.

Elmdale is the cornerstone of a multi-faceted real estate platform that includes its investment arm, the C21A brokerage, property management, commercial financing and development. These form the five planks of Elmdale and together, create a lead generation tool that yields opportunities for the fund. Additionally, the activities and tasks of each of the planks further drive the flow of proprietary information that can be accessed by the Fund to take advantage of the edge in selected real estate opportunities.

Tom Bretz

Thomas M. Bretz is the CEO of Century 21 Affiliated’s Chicago office. Along with CFO Adam Freeman, Tom built the successful Chicago branch that has experienced significant growth over the past few years. The Chicago office focuses on properties in the Chicago Metro area, northern Illinois, and southeastern Wisconsin.

Adam Freeman

Adam Freeman is a private equity and investment professional who brings 15 years’ experience in investment banking, private equity, real estate investment, and building businesses to the role of Principal at Elmdale Partners. Throughout his career, Mr. Freeman has completed in excess of $1 billion of total transactions, including over $115 million of real estate acquisitions and investments.
